EMGRISA and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) have signed a framework agreement for collaboration in training, scientific and technical fields for participation in joint projects both nationally and internationally. The agreement affects the implementation of scientific and technological support activities and collaboration on specific topics related to the investigation and remediation of soils and associated waters, development of water, soil and waste treatment processes, and diagnosis and recovery of areas. environmentally degraded.
The president of the ENUSA Group, José Vte. Berlanga, representing EMGRISA, and the rector of the UPM, Guillermo Cisneros, have signed the agreement that will cover an initial period of two years, tacitly extendable for another two years. The Corporate Director of ENUSA, Rosario Arévalo, and the Director of EMGRISA, Mariano Martínez Cepa, were also present at the event.
Through this collaboration, EMGRISA makes available to the Madrid academic institution its experience and knowledge in services for the conservation of the environment in terms of contaminated soils and waters, industrial waste treatments, engineering and environmental consulting, as well as in the design, development and operation of contaminated soil and/or waste treatment units.
The agreement includes the bases that will articulate the relationship between EMGRISA and the Polytechnic University of Madrid as well as the specific modalities of collaboration that include cooperation in training programs; participation in joint national and international projects; mutual advice and facilitation for the use of facilities; and how many others are considered of interest.
For the practical execution of the specific projects or programs that arise within the framework of this agreement, a specific contract will be made, for the monitoring and fulfillment of which a Joint Joint Commission will be established. This commission will be in charge of promoting collaboration possibilities, preparing agreements, submitting proposals and monitoring them.
